Earlene Avalón PhD, MPH At Northeastern University’s College of Professional Studies, Dr. Earlene Avalón is a Teaching Professor and the Program Lead for the Healthcare Administration, Health Science, and Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical programs. Additionally, she directs the Lowell Institute School, supporting STEM-related bachelor’s degree completion programs. Dr. Avalón research focuses on health equity for marginalized populations, emphasizing workforce diversity initiatives and mentoring programs. She holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry/secondary education, a master’s degree in public health, and a PhD in Health Professions Education.
